Who We Work With

Importers, wholesalers, distributors, and supermarket programs.

Cairo Fields works with buyers who need consistent volume, clear specifications, and a single point of contact from sourcing through to export. We do not sell by the pallet. We build supply programs.

  • Importers — full container and multi-container programs
  • Wholesalers — recurring seasonal supply with specification consistency
  • Distributors — multi-crop sourcing from a single accountable supplier
  • Supermarket programs — buyer-spec packing, label, and documentation alignment
  • Food service buyers — volume supply, processing-grade and catering-format options

Documentation

Phytosanitary certificates, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, EUR.1 for European destinations, and fumigation certificates where required. Prepared per destination standards.

Packing

Carton format, sizing grade, net weight, and labelling to buyer specification. Wooden pallet, plastic pallet, or slip-sheet to container type. Vacuum pre-cooling available for sensitive crops.

Compliance

Egypt MOPMAR phytosanitary standards apply across all exports. European buyers require GlobalG.A.P. and EU MRL compliance — we discuss this in pre-program planning.

Logistics

Reefer container coordination from packhouse through Alexandria or Port Said. Land bridge routes for Libya and Sudan where appropriate. We work with buyers' nominated forwarders or coordinate independently.

How long does it take to ship Egyptian produce to Gulf countries?
Sea freight from Alexandria or Port Said to Gulf ports typically takes 5-10 days depending on the destination. Saudi Arabia and UAE eastern ports are the fastest routes.
