Cairo Fields Capability
End-to-End Export Coordination: Packhouse to Port
Cairo Fields manages phytosanitary scheduling, documentation preparation, freight coordination, and container stuffing. Buyers have one accountable team from packed product to shipped container.
The Buyer Challenge
What goes wrong without the right supplier.
Export failures happen in the logistics chain, not just the field. Phytosanitary delays, documentation errors, container booking problems, port congestion, and cold chain failures between packhouse and port have ruined export programs for buyers who sourced good product but could not get it out of Egypt correctly.
Cairo Fields Approach
How we solve it.
Cairo Fields handles export coordination as a core function, not an afterthought. Phytosanitary inspection is scheduled and tracked. Documentation is prepared before loading starts. Freight is confirmed before packing. Container stuffing is supervised. The buyer receives shipping confirmation with a complete document set.
The Process
Step by step.
-
Documentation preparation
Commercial invoice, packing list, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, EUR.1 (for EU), fumigation certificate (where required) — prepared before loading date.
-
Phytosanitary scheduling
MOPMAR inspection scheduled and coordinated. Inspection findings managed. Certificate issued and included in document package.
-
Freight confirmation
Reefer container or ambient container booked. Booking confirmation and container number provided to buyer before stuffing date.
-
Container stuffing supervision
Container temperature confirmed (pre-cooled where required). Product loaded under supervision. Container seal number recorded and included in documents.
-
Shipping notification
Buyer receives shipping notification with: B/L details, container and seal numbers, full document set, and ETD/ETA. Follow-up at destination port as required.
What Buyers Get
Concrete outputs, not promises.
- Phytosanitary certificate and full documentation package before vessel departure
- Confirmed container booking before packing begins
- Cold chain maintained from packhouse to container seal
- Single point of contact through the full logistics chain
- Shipping notification with complete documents on day of vessel departure
Export coordination is the capability that makes everything else usable. A well-grown crop, packed correctly, with the wrong documentation or a missed phytosanitary appointment, does not leave Egypt on time — or sometimes at all.
Cairo Fields treats export coordination as a sequential process, not a parallel set of tasks you hope all complete at the same time. Documentation is started early. Phytosanitary inspection is scheduled with lead time. Freight is confirmed before the packing date, not after. Container stuffing is supervised against a packing list that matches the documents.
Buyers who have had problems with Egyptian suppliers in the past most commonly cite documentation delays and phytosanitary failures. These are preventable with proper pre-shipment planning and active management — which is what Cairo Fields provides as standard.
