Cairo Fields Capability

Contract Growing: Plan Your Crop Supply Before the Season

Cairo Fields programs crops to buyer specification — variety, volume, sizing, and packaging confirmed before harvest. Owned farm cultivation in Wadi El Natron and Menoufia, supplemented by our national grower network.

The Buyer Challenge

What goes wrong without the right supplier.

Buyers who rely on spot sourcing face the same problems every season: inconsistent sizing, unreliable volume, poor documentation, and last-minute price increases. When you have no visibility into how a crop was grown, you have no reliable basis for planning your own supply commitments.

Cairo Fields Approach

How we solve it.

Cairo Fields works with buyers before the season starts. We confirm the crop variety, expected volume, sizing grade, and packaging format, then plan production around those requirements across our owned farms and grower network. This gives buyers a committed supply plan instead of a spot-purchase gamble.

The Process

Step by step.

  1. Requirement alignment

Buyer confirms crop, variety, volume, sizing, packaging, destination, and shipment window. We review feasibility against our farm capacity and network availability.

  2. Growing plan

We assign crop production to owned farms (Wadi El Natron, Menoufia) or contracted growers in the relevant growing region, depending on the crop and volume.

  3. Season monitoring

Field visits through the growing season to monitor crop development, identify any emerging quality or volume issues, and maintain buyer visibility.

  4. Pre-harvest inspection

Crop inspected before harvest to confirm sizing, quality, and timing against the agreed program parameters.

  5. Harvest and handover

Crop harvested to timing and handed directly to packing operations. No intermediary cold storage delays.

What Buyers Get

Concrete outputs, not promises.

  • Volume commitment confirmed before the growing season, not at time of shipment
  • Variety and specification alignment from planting through to packing
  • Field visit reports and season progress updates
  • Reduced last-minute sourcing risk and price volatility
  • Direct visibility into how your crop was grown

Contract growing is relevant for buyers who need consistent, repeatable supply — not one-off shipments. If you are managing a recurring fresh produce program for a retail chain, food service distributor, or import business with forward commitments, spot sourcing introduces risk at every season.

Cairo Fields operates owned cultivation in Wadi El Natron (Beheira) and Menoufia — two of Egypt’s most productive agricultural regions. These farms give us direct control over planting decisions, irrigation, and harvest timing for the crops we grow on our own land. For crops and volumes beyond our own land, we extend programs through trusted growers in our national network under the same quality and specification agreements.
